Sustainability Summer Camp
During the Camp
You can expect…
…a 10-day programme into the world of sustainability! This camp is designed to inspire, educate, and empower participants to become active stewards of the environment. You will have different workshops and practical actions regarding living more eco-friendly. You will meet other young adults from all over the world, who are also interested in making a change. Together, you will get new knowledge and perspectives on living more sustainably, that you can continue back in your home country.
How?
We will practise and discover different ways to apply sustainability in our life, from different perspectives like political, social and economic. Having time for workshops, discussions and reflection. There will be space to create an action plan to bring with us when the camp ends and we return to our local communities.
We will also go on investigations in the area. During all of it you have plenty of time to connect with the other participants, discuss the topics and share your opinions and ideas.
Why?
- To Raise Awareness: we will discuss environmental issues like climate change, deforestation, pollution, and resource depletion are growing challenges.
- To Empower Action: Many people want to make a difference but don’t know where to start. We aim to empower participants with the knowledge and tools they need to lead sustainable lives and inspire change in their communities.
- To Achieve Impact: Our ultimate goal is to inspire behavioral change and equip participants with the motivation and skills to make sustainability a lifelong commitment.
- To Exchange Ideas and Values: We also want to give young adults the chance to create international friendships, and get in touch with different cultures and backgrounds, to open their minds to different perspectives and ideas.
Who are we?
We are volunteers in the Tvind International Campus, our names are: Lise, Vytene, Vincent, Robert, Marie and Imke. We are an international team coming from Lithuania, France, Germany and Ghana. Together we are here for a one-year program to learn about sustainability and the environment. We would like to share the things we already learned, and give you the opportunity to make your own experiences.

When and Where?
3rd to 12th of July of 2025. You can agree with us to come a day or two earlier. The camp will happen at the Tvind International School Centre, Skorkaervej 8, Ulfborg, 6990, Denmark.
How much will it cost?
The cost of the 10-day programme is 400 euros. This money will cover food, accommodation, all the workshops and experiences that you will take during the camp, some extra activities and a lift from and to the local train station. The travel from your home country to Denmark is not included.
Who can join?
The course is dedicated to anyone who is passionate about sustainability and learning about the world. Everybody over 18 years old who is ready to live an experiential camp, challenge themselves, and share team 10 days with a team is welcome!
The camp will be in English.
How to apply?
Click on the button below and fill in the application form for the camp – you will be contacted by the organisers within five to ten days. Each participant is requested to take part in an information meeting after filling out the application form, during which you will be able to ask all of your questions.
