Why study with us?
The programme that was in development for 50 years is set out to be an immersive experience with each year building upon the last. Starting from the Global perspective and situation of our planet, to the reality of European schools.
The whole four years has an overall goal and purpose for you to become a educator able to move matters in a collective way.
While doing all of this you will get a bachelor in Educational sciences.
Our programme is all about…
Experience-based Learning
Together with your teammates, you will take ownership of your learning — acting as the driving force of your own education. This means that you will learn by travelling and exploring the different realities of people in Europe and globally. You will start the programme with a 4-month bus journey to Western Africa as a study project.
A Collective Approach
At our campus, in Denmark, you will live, work and study collectively. Here, students and teachers make decisions and run the college together. You will be part of a community, and gain friendships for life with students from over 20 different countries.
Economically sustainable
We have created a period to help you earn the funds for the programme together with your future teammates. This means that you only need an enrollment fee of €1.000 to join DNS. There are no extra costs throughout the 4 years.
Quality education is needed
We need educators who are not only equipped with academic knowledge but also posses critical thinking, empathy, and a deep understanding of global challenges. Hear from our headmistress about how we train educators at DNS.
Bachelor in Education
You will be able to get a Bachelor’s degree in Educational Science.
Make a difference
You will be tackling real-world challenges like the environmental crisis, poverty, inequality and the lack of quality education for all.
Grow as a person
Your team and teachers will both challenge and support you in becoming a more competent person.
Get Extensive Work Experience
Try yourself out through diverse working experiences, across different countries. The practice periods in DNS are carried out in professional job positions.
